Kulkarni then accompanied the woman to Padgha Police Station, where her complaint was registered. Police have booked the accused under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 64(1), 70(1), 351(2) and 3(5), along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act.
