You spot a grey hair in the mirror and the automatic reaction used to be: Pluck it, panic a little, then think about dyeing it eventually. For years, that was the only script anyone knew of. Finding a grey, covering it and moving on. That script, however, is changing now. On multiple social media platforms, a lot of young people are reacting differently. They spot a grey strand, look at it, and just get on with their day. For many in Gen Z, a few greys at 22 or 26 is not really a crisis but just a strand of hair.
