Meta, which runs platforms like Facebook and Instagram, has been found guilty of running ads that contained child sexual abuse material in the past in multiple countries, including India. A Washington-based Tech Transparency Project (TTP) says it found 332 adverts with CSAM that were running on Facebook and Instagram, and the majority of them were deployed in August 2026.
