Greek FA President Calls For Change In FIFA Leadership, Targets Gianni Infantino

Greek Football Association president Makis Gagatsis and Oliver Bierhoff, who served as the team director of Germany for 18 years, have called for a change in the FIFA leadership. Gagatsis confirmed that the GFA is against Gianni Infantino’s candidacy. Greek FA withdrew its support for Infantino after FIFA proposed the privatisation to raise $20 billion. “The Greek FA (EPO) has taken a ‌clear position against a candidacy of Gianni Infantino. We saw things happen at the World Cup that are not acceptable to football public opinion. Then… came a programme to sell World Cup rights and we are clearly against it, so we withdrew our support of the FIFA president,” Gagatsis said.
