Chicago rapper BloodHound Q50, whose real name was Mikquale Cooper, was fatally shot at the age of 22 in an early-morning attack in the city, with new surveillance footage from the incident now circulating online.
Cooper was sitting inside a vehicle in Chicago’s Fuller Park area at around 4am on Sunday when two vehicles reportedly approached, according to police. Multiple people from the vehicles allegedly opened fire.
The rapper was struck in the chest and shoulder during the shooting. Chicago Fire Department emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Cooper could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the location. The Cook County medical examiner’s office later identified the victim as Cooper, a Chicago resident.
