Hyderabad: A 26-year-old woman was killed and two others were injured after a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus allegedly hit two two-wheelers in Hyderabad’s Srinagar Colony on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Hema Durga, a native of Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district. She was working as a customer relationship executive at a car showroom in Banjara Hills.
According to the details available, Hema Durga had booked a bike taxi and was returning home from work when the accident took place near the rear side of Value Zone Stores on the Srinagar Colony route.
A bike rider and a scooter rider were also injured in the accident.
The road at the spot was narrow and the RTC bus allegedly hit the two-wheelers, leading to the fatal accident.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the moment the bus allegedly hit the two-wheelers.
Further details about the condition of the injured and the police investigation are awaited.
