Reflecting on Marvel’s approach to superhero movies, the filmmaker compared them to an amusement park experience, where the audience is constantly taken through highs, lows and big moments. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said, “[Marvel is] like an amusement park ride, right? The ups, the drops, the kind of cruising part, and then another drop.”
