Pakistan was whitewashed in the three-match series after losing the third and final Test by eight wickets at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Saturday, ending their agonising tour of England. The Babar Azam-led team’s tour was a complete failure, and following the crushing defeat at Lord’s, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) replaced seven players and two coaches. Before the last game in Birmingham, Babar acknowledged that he was not informed when seven players, including Salman Ali Agha and Muhammad Rizwan, were sent back.
