The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates who participated in the second round of counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) can check their allotment status on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The Round 2 counselling process covers 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100 per cent seats of deemed universities, central universities, AFMC, AIIMS institutions, as well as JIPMER campuses in Puducherry and Karaikal.
The registration and payment process for this round began on September 3, while the choice filling window remained open until September 9, 2026.

As per the MCC schedule, the seat allotment processing was conducted between September 9 and September 10, following which the result was published on September 11.
Candidates allotted seats have to report to their respective institutes within the given timeline and complete all admission formalities.
MCC has also released Round 2 vacancy details, including newly added seats, clear vacancies and virtual vacancies for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.
The Candidates have been advised to carefully check their provisional results and report any discrepancies through the “Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System” available on the candidate login portal before the deadline of 6:00 PM on September 10, 2026.
The counselling authority has directed candidates to complete reporting and joining within the prescribed schedule. Participating institutes will verify the data of joined candidates on September 19, 2026, after admission completion.
The academic session for undergraduate medical courses is scheduled to begin on September 15, 2026, even as counselling and reporting activities continue.
