Set against the backdrop of Goa between the 1940s and 1970s, Toxic follows Raya, a ruthless gangster who builds a powerful empire spanning drugs, smuggling and opium. Yash plays a dual role as Raya and his son Rumi, while Kiara Advani plays Nadia, Rumi’s mother. Nayanthara stars as Ganga, Raya’s sister, with Rukmini Vasanth as arms dealer Mellisa. Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair and Darrell D’Silva also feature in key roles. As rival syndicates clash and alliances shift, Raya is forced to confront the consequences of his violent ambitions and the darkness within.
