In a significant moment inside the courtroom, the Cockroach Janta Party’s co-convenor, Saurav Das, on Tuesday thanked Chief Justice of India Surya Kant-led bench after the Supreme Court, invoking Article 142, quashed all FIRs registered against protestors across Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam and Maharashtra in connection with the NEET protests. The CJP told the Apex Court that it has called off its September 5 march following developments on the closure of FIRs.
