“Because that is one format which I feel is the most difficult format to play as a batter if you are batting lower down the order, or wherever you bat. Even if you are batting at number four, it can be 0 for 2; if you are batting at six, it can be 24 for 4—anything can happen. So in that, you go in and you have to bat a bit like Tests—you see off the bowlers, give them respect, slowly build the innings, play at a strike rate of 50, sometimes 75, then build it to 100, and at the end take it to 130 or 140 like in T20s,” said Suryakumar in an interaction on former India cricketer Aakash Chopra’s YouTube channel.
