In the first case, a woman passenger arriving from Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad was intercepted. “She was found to have concealed two gold chains weighing 100.060 grams, with a total market value of Rs 16,72,003. In another case, a couple who arrived from Sharjah was intercepted with four gold bangles and two gold chains weighing 140.030 grams, valued at Rs 23,41,739,” the release said.
