Speaking on state television, Madanizadeh said Iran had been planning for this scenario for some time. “The government is and was ready and has a two-year plan to manage these events,” he said. He added that Iran has its own strategies to counter the pressure. “We also have our own tools and know how to play the game,” he said, noting that Tehran had been “waiting for these plans for a long time.”
