A 28-year-old man from Punjab was shot dead in New York City while he was out delivering pizza, leaving his family and villagers back home in Kapurthala devastated. The victim has been identified as Gurdeep Singh, a resident of Jabbowal village in the Bholath area of Punjab‘s Kapurthala district. According to his family, Gurdeep had travelled to the US around 13 years ago after taking a loan, hoping to earn a livelihood and build a better future for his parents.
