Denmark Football Association has joined the list of associations which have withdrawn their support for FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Following a board meeting on Friday (August 21), the DBU issued a statement in which they mentioned that they have lost faith in Infantino. They were “pleased” with several federations withdrawing their support for Infantino. “We are pleased that several federations are now withdrawing their support. DBU, together with UEFA and our international colleagues, will work to ensure that the member associations in the presidential election in 2027 have a real choice and a credible alternative that can unite Fifa across confederations and rebuild the trust that has been broken,” the DBU said in a statement.
