In an exclusive interaction with Zoom, actor Garrett Dillahunt, who plays the rich billionaire William Macon, revealed how deftly Lanterns tackles many genres from sci-fi to mystery to Western. He stated, “Hopefully, there’s something for everyone in it. It’s kind of like my favourite kind of comic books. You know what I mean? The superheroes, it’s just part of their life. They’re flawed people, shades of grey, all the characters. I’m definitely part of the Western aspect, I suppose. But yes, I think of it as kind of a gritty, True Detective-style series with a dash of superpowers.”
