A fast-moving wildfire has prompted evacuation warnings and forced the closure of a major highway in Humboldt County, California, after flames reached the roadway. The MP18 Fire, burning north of Hoopa, had grown by about 300 acres by Saturday morning, according to Cal Fire. The fire was first reported shortly after 19:00 local time on Friday.
