After the release of O’Romeo starring Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri earlier this year, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has zeroed in on the subject of his next. The award-winning director and music composer is looking to make a film on the Tarun Tejpal rape case. Recently, the former editor of Tehelka was back in the news after the Bombay High Court sentenced him to 10 years in jail. The HC reversed the judgement made by the Goa sessions court which acquitted the founder in 2021. Bhardwaj, who had been in Goa for the hearing, shared that he read the Goa trial court’s 527-page judgement many times.
