In the 90s and early 2000s, Abhijeet recorded many songs for films starring Shah Rukh. From Baadshah, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Josh, Asoka, to Chalte Chalte, Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, they were a successful pair. Their last song was Khudaya Khair (Reprise) in Billu.
