Problems are continuing to mount for Gianni Infantino, with a report claiming that FIFA has yet to pay $1 million each to 11 US cities which hosted the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The global event was played in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco Bay Area, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Atlanta, Philadelphia and New York hosted the US Leg of the tournament. The final was played at MetLife Stadium on July 19, where Spain defeated defending champions Argentina.
