The visit comes as several areas of Charaideo continue to grapple with the aftermath of the recent floods, with many villages still facing waterlogging, damaged infrastructure and disruption of normal life. The state government has said it is closely monitoring the situation and will continue relief, rehabilitation and restoration efforts in the affected areas.
