When Bhushan Akut walks out to lead India’s 60-plus-category team at the Pickleball World Cup later this year, it will not be the first time he has represented the country. Akut is also a former national badminton champion and has captained India’s Masters tennis team. Despite his many achievements, the 62-year-old will be wearing the India jersey in pickleball with the same sense of pride.
