Earlier, after allegations of question paper transmission during the second exam, the college had already prohibited the carrying of mobile phones into the halls. Following the incident, the state government set up a three-member committee on July 27 to investigate the matter, while the college constituted a separate five-member panel for its own inquiry, as per the reports from PTI.
