Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra secured a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw, spearheading a historic double podium finish alongside teammate Yash Vir Singh, who clinched the bronze. Meanwhile, high jumper Sarvesh Kushare delivered a stellar performance to capture the silver medal in the men’s high jump. Tejaswin Shankar added another historic chapter by securing the bronze in the men’s decathlon – India’s first-ever CWG medal in the discipline. The men’s triple jump saw another fantastic double podium, with Praveen Chithravel taking silver (16.58m) and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran securing bronze (16.52m). Murali Sreeshankar won a silver medal in the men’s long jump, while Seema Kaliramna won a bronze medal in the women’s discus throw event.
