West Bengal to Revamp School Curriculum from 2028 in Line with NEP; Schools Free to Choose Uniform Colors

The West Bengal government has announced that a new school curriculum, revised textbooks and a fresh assessment pattern will be introduced for Classes 1 to 12 from the academic session 2028, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP), marking an end to the state’s long resistance to the Centre’s flagship education reform.
