Authorities believe the author may be identifiable through distinctive word choice, grammar, syntax and recurring phrases. Investigators are urging anyone who recognizes the writing style, has surveillance footage, or has information about unusual behavior around the time of Guthrie’s disappearance to contact the FBI or Southern Arizona’s 88-CRIME tip line. Officials said tips can be submitted anonymously, and more than $1.2 million in combined rewards is being offered for information that helps solve the case.
