Tensions erupted during Reddy’s visit to the junction, where a confrontation allegedly broke out between YSRCP leaders and the police personnel deployed at the location. A video was posted by the TDP, where YSRCP’s Amadalavalasa in-charge Chintada Ravikumar, alongside other leaders, is purportedly seen misbehaving with a woman sub-inspector from the Burja police station. The police officer was on official security duty when the incident took place.
