EPFO has therefore alerted all to double check their details and also offers members a process to seek correction of such details such as date of joining, date of leaving, reason for leaving-subject to the requirement or supporting documents needed. This notification from EPFO is particularly useful for employees who are in the midst of changing jobs or those planning to withdraw their PF amount. In a post on X @officialepfo states, “a small mistake in your Date of Joining or Exit can impact your future benefits. Don’t ignore it….Check and correct your details today. Secure your PF and pension,” along with an option to scan for more information.
