Capital District Floods: New York's Albany, Rensselaer, Greene, Saratoga Counties Hit by Historic Storm

Torrential rain has caused widespread flooding across New York’s Capital Region and Hudson Valley, with roads submerged, homes damaged, emergency rescues carried out and at least one building collapsing. Officials said the slow-moving storm brought rainfall totals approaching 10 inches in some areas on Wednesday, far exceeding earlier forecasts of 2 to 4 inches.
