The Indian weightlifting squad has been the cornerstone of the nation’s success at these Games. Prior to Harjinder Kaur’s silver, the team had already amassed six medals – Chanu’s gold, silver medals from Rishikanta Singh (60kg), Muthupandi Raja (65kg), Gyaneshwari Yadav (53kg), and Valluri Ajaya Babu (79kg), along with a bronze from Bindyarani Devi (58kg).
