Born on June 30, 1956, in Zurich, Switzerland, Suneil Anand had a degree in Business Administration and was also trained in Wing Tsun martial arts in Hong Kong before returning to films. He briefly explored acting in Bollywood during the 1980s and early 2000s, appearing in films such as Anand Aur Anand (1984), Car Thief (1986), Main Tere Liye (1988), and Master (2001). In 2001, he made his directorial debut with Master, a martial arts film. Years later, in 2014, he began working on the Hollywood project Vagator Mixer, reflecting his continued passion for cinema beyond mainstream Bollywood.
