According to the UP Police plan for the Kanwar Yatra, heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses and commercial vehicles, will face route diversions and entry restrictions across the Meerut Zone. Separate routes have been earmarked for Kanwariyas and regular traffic to ensure smooth movement and minimise congestion and accidents.As part of the arrangements, Kanwariyas will not be allowed on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway (NH-344G).
