The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said Kristopher Karolkiewicz, 47, fatally shot his wife, Amanda “Mandy” Karolkiewicz, 39, and their six children, who ranged in age from 5 to 15, before taking his own life. Authorities said four of the children were the couple’s biological children and two had been adopted. The children’s names have not been released.
