Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi launched a sharp attack on the government during the Lok Sabha debate on the anti-paper leak bill, demanding accountability over police action during the Cockroach Janta Party’s July 20 march. “Who ordered the use of tear gas, pellet guns, lathi-charge and assault on women? We want answers,” Gogoi said in the House, pressing the government to respond as the discussion on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 continued.
