Activist Sonam Wangchuk was discharged from Medanta Hospital on Monday after his health showed improvement following his 26-day hunger strike. Before leaving for Ladakh, Wangchuk will visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi. In a video message, Wangchuk said he was feeling “a lot better” and was gradually resuming food intake as he regained strength.
