The Singapore Open was the first PPA Tour Asia event ever held in the country. The four-day tournament ran from July 23 to 26, starting with qualifying and Round of 32 matches before moving through the Round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals, with the finals held on the last day. It carried total prize money of US$70,000 and offered 500 ranking points to the winners in each Pro category.
