Epstein referred to her as his favorite, gave her free rein on a credit card, funded her global travel, and sent her close to a million dollars over the years, plus tens of thousands more to her family in Belarus. She eventually took on real duties too, managing his staff and properties, and even assisting with his attempt to purchase a Moroccan palace shortly before his 2019 arrest.
