Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday, July 25, submitted his resignation from the post, amid the ongoing protests. Pradhan said he is disturbed to see the series of events that have unfolded in the last 10 days and sent his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “I took responsibility of NEET paper leak from day one,” he said. Reacting to Pradhan’s resignation, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said, “Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned. This is proof that if you don’t get scared, if you don’t bow down in front of his government, you can take anyone’s resignation. Don’t be scared in a democracy,” he told the protesters at Jantar Mantar.
