Honda has launched the ZR-V as a completely built-up import at Rs 47.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the most expensive Honda car sold in India with a strong-hybrid powertrain rated at 22.80 kmpl. The SUV comes in a single, fully loaded variant only, using a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine paired with a dual-motor hybrid system that produces 181 bhp and up to 315 Nm through an eCVT gearbox. This matters because Honda is entering premium SUV territory currently held by the Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, but without offering any variant flexibility on price.
