In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the driver’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs and feet all received ‘good’ protection ratings while the chest and shin area were rated ‘adequate’ rather than ‘good’. The co-driver side mirrored this almost exactly, with every measured body part rated ‘good’ except the shins, again rated ‘adequate’. The side movable barrier test was a clean sweep with the passenger’s head, chest, abdomen and pelvis all scoring ‘good’, and the separate side pole impact test also returned a solid result. Combined, this added up to 14.41 out of 16 points for the frontal test and a full 16 out of 16 for the side test.
