In a high-octane drama, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who had been on a hunger strike at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar for the past 20 days, was taken to a hospital by Delhi Police on Saturday (July 18). Wangchuk was taken to Safdarjung Hospital, where doctors said he is conscious and his vital signs are stable.
Meanwhile, the CJP founder alleged that he was beaten up by the Delhi Police officials and announced that he will sit on an indefinite hunger strike.
