Some childhood dreams do come true – the only missing step for now, may be some big, fat American dollars!

You could be living in Batman’s home, given that the California property is now back in the market. To be clear, this estate is the one depicted as the ‘Wayne Manor’ from the 1960s Batman show. Created by William Dozier, the series ran between 1966 and 1968, eventually cancelled owing to its ‘camp’ aura which had fewer and fewer takers as the turn of the decade approached. However, Adam West and Burt Ward’s pairing as Batman and Robin is still considered iconic among the OG fan circles, which is what adds to the charm of the Pasadena address. Besides this, the property also enjoys a prime place in the fandom’s memory given that it famously introduced the Batpoles hidden behind a sliding William Shakespeare bust – this permanently changed how Batman’s secret entry to the Batcave was visualised by fans.

Inside Bruce Wayne’s Original Home

Standing proud on 380 S San Rafael Ave, in Pasadena, California, the ‘Wayne Manor’ sprawls across 4.84 acres of land, with the actual property itself coming up on a whooping 18,655 square feet. The mansion houses 7 beds and 11 baths, all encased in classic Jacobean Tudor-style architecture across three levels. If you’re wondering why there are so many baths, note than three of them are full baths, while four of them are half-baths; the remaining four are quarter-baths – so you’ll never be spoilt for choice when it comes to your unwinding routine. With the property come gated grounds, a movie theatre, private pool, and updated pickleball court and something priceless – views over the Arroyo Seco. Mature oaks surround the grounds while hardwood and marble floors ground the structure. And all of this can be yours for a clean and smooth $32 million.

Not All Goth After All

You could be the biggest fan of the Batman series, especially the original, but Batcave-core may still not be the interiors you’d want to dwell in forever! Now luckily, ‘Wayne Manor’ is prescribing to the goth stereotype. Most of its interiors follow a sandy beige palette, with ample use of wood to add that classic, old money charm – something already well-established with the acre-count and price point of the property.

As per a Deadline report, the estate’s last two sales stand dated 1999 and 2025. While the first sale cost $4.4 million, the second appropriately jumped to a $20.5 million. There’s been no concrete reasoning given for the difference in price points given its up for sale again within just a year. However, the mark up in square footage – from 16,500 square feet in 2025 to 18,600 square feet in 2026 – may indicate expansive renovation work.
