CENTCOM said the latest strikes began at 3:00pm ET, one hour before the blockade was reinstated. “At 3 pm ET today, US Central Command forces began launching an additional round of strikes against Iran to continue degrading Iranian capabilities used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz,” the military said in a statement posted on X.
