Now, in an exclusive interaction with Zoom, Pranav opens up on editing films as vfx-heavy as Nagabandham, to dramas Gully Boy or even sports dramas like Ranveer Singh’s ’83. “Every genre has its own rhythm, but the core emotion is always the same,” Pranav shared, revealing that he does not “consciously reset” his instincts but instead lets the footage guide him. “A coming-of-age film relies more on performances, while a thriller depends heavily on pacing and tension. As an editor, my job is to understand what the story needs and make sure nothing slows it down unnecessarily.”
