The winners of the Pickleball Grand Prix will now have the opportunity to enter the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL) player auction, scheduled for later in the year. This will provide a direct pathway for players to get into the mix and make a name for themselves on the professional stage, and come into national reckoning, thus elevating India’s grassroots pickleball ecosystem. It goes without saying that the IPBL franchises, namely Mumbai Smashers, who won the inaugural season of the IPBL in Delhi last year, Hyderabad Royals, Lucknow Leopards, Capital Warriors Gurgaon, Bengaluru Blasters, and Chennai Super Warriors, will all be keeping a close eye on the second edition of the Pickleball Grand Prix.
