The legendary Indian cricket captain turned 53 on July 8, and on the special day, he took to social media to thank the makers of the movie, calling it the “best gift.” It came soon after the first poster featuring Rajkummar was unveiled on Wednesday, along with the film’s release date. In the poster, the actor is seen recreating Ganguly’s iconic Lord’s celebration. Dada is a biographical drama based on the life, struggles, and achievements of former skipper, Sourav Ganguly.
