Released in 2014, Queen was jointly backed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Phantom Films. Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena, and Vikas Bahl were the founders of Phantom Films, a banner that shut shop in 2018, only to make a comeback as Phantom Studios in 2021.
