According to the sheriff’s department, Wells is a Black male standing about 6 foot 1 and weighing roughly 180 pounds. At the time he went missing, he was wearing blue swim trunks and sunglasses. He was last seen near the northwest tip of Horn Island on the afternoon of July 4, though investigators are still trying to piece together exactly when he left the island and who he might have been with.
