After enduring one of its hottest July days in the past two years, Delhi finally witnessed much-needed relief on Tuesday (July 7) as rain and thunderstorms lashed several parts of the national capital. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a yellow alert, forecasting a generally cloudy sky, moderate rainfall, and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in isolated areas.
